PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head slider capable of preventing contact between a head slider and a disk, having pitch rigidity stable even when external disturbances such as impacts are applied by an NCSS system sheltering the head slider to a shelter separated from the disk surface and holding it, and capable of performing a high-speed loading/unloading operation. SOLUTION: On the surface 30 of a head slider 100 opposite to a disk, a positive pressure generation part 35, a negative pressure generation recessed part 382, and an information conversion element 50 disposed in an air flow-out end side are provided, and a slope 40 is provided between the air flow-out side of the negative pressure recessed part 382 and at least one end of an air flow-out end 32, a disk inner peripheral end 33 and a disk outer peripheral end 34 so as to have a gap with the disk larger toward an end. With this structure, a negative pressure generated during high-speed loading is quickly reduced, the damaging of a suspension is prevented, and the disk recording/reproducing device is made thin.
