OPTICAL WIRING COMPONENT AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wiring component which equalizes the wiring length of each optical fiber in the wiring using single coated optical fibers, and which simplifies measurement of characteristics. SOLUTION: This is the method of manufacturing the optical wiring component 1 which is equipped with the main body 3 for wiring a plurality of optical fibers 2 in the shape of a two-dimensional plane and with the supporting sheet 6 for arranging the end of the a plurality of optical fibers 2 in a branch part 4, and which is composed of optical connectors 5 connected to the end of the optical fibers 2. The plurality of the optical fibers 2 is cut in a manner that the wiring lengths are substantially equal, and then connected with an optical connector 5 at both ends of the optical fibers 2, the wiring is formed on the supporting sheet subsequently.
