PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space saving cable housing device capable of preventing a cable from breaking. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable housing device 200 having a fixing base 210 with a fixing part 211 which fixes optical fiber cables 131 to 135 and a slide base 220 with a fixing part 221 which fixes the optical fiber cables 131 to 135 is provided with a pulley unit 230 which has a pair of pulley 231 and pulley 232 coming into contact with the optical fiber cables 131 to 135 so as to sandwich them and being arranged apart from each other and also which is held by the slide base 220 so as to rotate and a movable lever 240 which rotates the pulley unit 230 in accordance with the movement of the slide base 220 to the fixing base 210 so that tension and bending which is exerted on the optical fiber cables 131 to 135 fall within an allowable range of the optical fiber cables 131 to 135.
