SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes casting mold in which bandage for roll is placed, seed-electrode, solenoid-electrode placed inside bandage and spaced by distance (5-100)mm from its surface. Solenoid-electrode includes rod electrodes secured to its lower turn and it consists of two mutually joined portions of different-orientation turns. Solenoid-electrode is made of powder wire with predetermined -content charge. Such construction of solenoid-electrode provides relaxation of tangential stresses on arbor-bandage contact surface. Use of powder wire provides in arbor-bandage transition zone presence of metal with properties almost the same as those of material of bandage and of cast arbor of roll.
