PURPOSE: A dust indicator is provided to detect element replace time of an air cleaner by dividing a case into transparent section and semitransparent section and to extend a life span of an engine. CONSTITUTION: A dust indicator comprises a housing(2) combined to a suction pipe(6); a case(3) inserted to an upper portion of the housing; a piston unit(4) mounted on the housing; a reset spring(5) arranged between the piston unit and the housing; a combining unit formed on the suction pipe; first and second receiving units recessed on an upper portion of the housing; a guide pin(31) attached toward a shaft direction of the case; a recognizing piece formed on an upper end portion of the piston unit by having a plate shape; a guide pipe contacted to the second receiving unit of the housing; a connector engaging the recognizing piece and the guide pipe; a guide groove formed in the middle of the piston unit; and a guide shaft(43) slidingly mounted on a movable groove of the housing. The case is divided into a transparent section(32), a semitransparent green section(33) and a semitransparent red section(34).
