PURPOSE: A drain valve of a toilet is provided to improve operation stability by installing a floater in the middle of the drain valve individually, and to extend a life span by adjusting the height of the floater conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A drain valve(50) has a chain(54) connected to a handle(12) at the side of a valve body, and a connecting rod having a hinge hole and connecting to the valve body. A drain pipe is opened and closed by operating the handle. A beaded chain(62) is installed individually in the middle of the valve body by a connecting piece mounted in the upper part of the valve body. A floater(64) is installed in the beaded chain through an insertion hole, and fixed by beads. The water level is adjusted with adjusting the height of the foam resin floater. The drain valve is operated stably with preventing interference between the floater and the drain pipe by installing the beaded chain individually. The reliability is improved with adjusting the height of the floater.
