PURPOSE: A system and method for sharing information using mobile terminals is provided to transfer to an audio or video communication mode in a text communication state without exposing the terminal number to the other side. CONSTITUTION: A system and method for sharing information using mobile terminals comprises a WIS(Wireless Internet Server), an SMS(Short Message Service) server, and a CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) server. The WIS comprises an Internet gateway for wireless Internet communication. The CTI server comprises an audio/video multipoint conference function. Also the WIS comprises a D/B that manages various items, such as chat room titles, opening periods, a payment mode, etc. An IP(Information Provider) or an IU(Information User) accesses the WIS. The IP inputs a chat room title and the opening period of the chat room. Also the IP selects an SC(Single Charge) mode to levy the service charge only on the IU or a DC(Double Charge) mode to levy the service charge on both the IP and the IU. The IP selects hierarchical menus step by step to arrange his information at suitable places so that his information can be found out through the hierarchical menus. |
