PURPOSE: A scroll compressor is provided to secure more compression space without deteriorating reliability of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: Wraps(100,200) formed on a rotary scroll and a fixed scroll are formed by more than one involute curves with radiuses of base circles and starting angles different with each other. A first involute curve and a second involute curve are alternatingly applied. A radius of a base circle and a starting angle of the second involute curve is smaller than a radius of a base circle and a starting angle of the first involute curve. Parts of scroll wraps move toward central side of the scrolls to move center of gravity to a central side of the rotary scroll to improve stability of the rotary scroll.
