PURPOSE: An automatic tensioner for an engine belt is provided to automatically control tension of the engine belt by resilient force and to prevent noise and vibration of the engine belt. CONSTITUTION: An automatic tensioner of an engine belt comprises plural pulleys(11,12,13) formed on an engine(10); a bracket(14) welded on an engine body; plural screw holes formed on an upper portion of the bracket; an engine belt automatic tensioner(16) formed on the engine; plural through holes formed on a hollow body; a compressed spring received in the body; roller(19) rotationally mounted around a pin; and a groove receiving an engine belt(23) by engine mounted on an outer circumference of the roller. Thereby, the automatic tensioner of the engine belt prevents noise and vibration by automatically control the tension of the engine belt by resilient force of the compressed spring.
