A cosmetic brush assembly includes a first cylindrical member holding bristles, a second cylindrical member, and a protecting cap protecting the bristles. The assembly further includes a brush member, a cylindrical catch member, and a length variable member. The brush member is slidably inserted in the first cylindrical member when it is not used or after use, and can be exposed to the outside of the first cylindrical member by a simple manipulation.
