PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical appliance equipped with a means for dealing with failure. SOLUTION: This medical appliance is equipped with a failure treatment means which finds out a component (7) causing the failure and displays it when a failure is generated in the appliance. When the component (7) can be replaced by a user of the appliance without requiring aid of maintenance service staff, a failure repairing means 13 displays a request to exchange the component.
