PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erosion of a slope face by parallelly arranging a number of water conducting parts formed of linear grooves or projections at a specified angle against a contour on the surface of the slope, and leading surface water downward along the water conducting parts. SOLUTION: Slope faces 1 are continuously formed through small steps 2. A number of linear water conducting parts 3 formed of grooves or projections are parallelly formed at a specified angleαagainst contour lines on the slope face 1. The angleαis selected within 2-45 degrees depending on rainfall of the site. Rainwater on the slope face during rain flows down straight by a relatively short distance between two water conducting parts 3 on the surface, and hits the water conducting part 3 and converts the flowing direction to the oblique downside, and reaches the small step 2 while reducing the flowing speed along the water conducting part 3, and further, drops straight from the end of the small step 2 and flows down on the surface of the next slope face along the water conducting part 3. In this way, rainwater is guided to the oblique downside along the water conducting part 3 to reduce the flowing speed of the rainwater. Hence, erosion of the slope face can be prevented.
