PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-transparent or reflection-type high-performance liquid crystal display, in which reflectance in the short wavelength region is enhanced to attain almost uniform reflection performance in the visible-ray region. SOLUTION: In the semi-transparent type liquid crystal display device 17, a protruding arrangement group is formed on a glass substrate 18; an adhesion layer 33 and a semitransmission film 21 are applied on the protruding arrangement group; a color filer 22, overcoat layer 23, transparent electrode 24 and alignment film 25 are formed on the semi-transparent film 21, and a transparent electrode 26 and alignment film 27 are formed on a glass substrata 19. Both glass substrates are stuck to each other with a sealing member 29, while a liquid crystal 28 is interposed. |
