The invention concerns a protective device to attenuate swell effects in a water zone to be protected, for example a harbour site, said device comprising at least a perforated front wall (3) exposed to the swell (H) and a rear wall (5) perforated with at least an opening and located on the side of the zone to be protected. The invention is characterised in that the rear wall (5) is only perforated in its part located above the mean sea level at half tide. Such a device enables to lower the height on known devices and to fulfil environmental and/or aesthetic requirements and is environmentally friendly. |
