PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a front and rear wheel drive vehicle, capable of recovering an electric energy in just proportion regardless of a vehicle speed, while using a compact motor and also a compact energy storage device, and of adequately maintaining a remaining charged electricity of the energy storage device. SOLUTION: The control device 1 for the front and rear wheel drive vehicle 2 which drives the front wheels and the rear wheels by an engine 3 and an electric motor 4 respectively is equipped with a ECU 20. The ECU 20 calculates a state of charge SOC of the battery 9. When the electric energy is recovered, the ECU 20 controls recovery quantity of the electric energy by controlling a connecting force FCL of a clutch 10 for a value with which the clutch 10 is connected in a state without a slip when a vehicle speed Vcar is a first limit value VLMT1 or less, or for a value with which the clutch 10 is connected in a state with a slip depending on the SOC when the vehicle speed Vcar is a second limit value VLMT2 or more. |
