PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wave correction clock with illumination function capable of surely conducting receiving without any trouble in reading the time in the dark. SOLUTION: A receiving control means 50 sets a receiving time and a number of times for receiving for a light condition and a dark condition, respectively. In the light condition, the number of times for receiving is set in a large number and receiving is conducted. In the dark condition, the number of times for receiving is set in a small number. A turning on control means 48 turns off the illumination when the receiving time comes in the dark condition in order to prevent generation of noise. The probability that the illumination turns off and the time is unreadable is reduced and the influence by turning off the light can be minimized because the number of times for receiving in the dark conditions is suppressed to the minimum. |
