The boom has a locking unit which includes a bolt (2). This bolt has an axial recess, in which a control piston (3) can be moved along relative to the bolt between first and second fixed stop positions. The control piston is shaped like a slideway guide, so that when the piston is between the two fixed stop positions, the locking body can be pressed outwards.
