PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for molding a porous solid having adsorbing ability such as active carbon powders, diatom earth or the like without damaging its adsorbing ability. SOLUTION: The porous solid is molded by adding 0.5-50 parts of a polyvinyl alcohol based-resin by mass to 100 parts by mass of a porous solid having the adsorbing ability.
