PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse detection device which hardly causes variations, thus improving detection sensitivity of pulse. SOLUTION: Sending and receiving piezoelectric elements are tilted on the sending and receiving substrates with an inclined layer and arranged, so that there could exist a vacant space below the piezoelectric elements, thus allowing ultrasonic waves to irradiate blood vessels in a larger angle and improve a sensitivity of pulse detection through cutting off the ultrasonic waves that may leak out or leak in the reverse side.
