PURPOSE: A system for ordering and manufacturing a notebook through the Internet and a method thereof are provided to input a desired cover design and paragraph, edit, select a wanted inside paper, and order a notebook having a wanted pattern by connecting to a seller server through the Internet. CONSTITUTION: In a system and a method for ordering and manufacturing by connecting to a seller server(3) using a personal terminal(1) through the Internet(2), the seller server(3) includes the below elements. A text source database(4) is provided for storing writings, famous sayings, and poems for a buyer's selection. An image source database(5) is provided for storing clip arts, talent photographs, and characters for a buyer's selection. An ordering source database(6) stores a photograph uploaded by a buyer and a text prepared by a buyer. An inside paper source database(7) stores shapes, colors, and forms of various kinds of inside papers. A bind source database(8) stores binding forms, cover materials of various kinds of notebooks. An edition program(9) is provided for enabling a buyer to manufacture and edit a wanted cover design directly by reading data stored in the above databases(4-8).
