A polyurethane-type composition (I) for stabilizing soil, in which one component (A) is a naturally-occurring organic material containing groups which are reactive towards isocyanate groups and the other (B) is a conventional polyisocyanate. Independent claims are also included for (a) a method for the production of (I) by mixing components (A) and (B); (b) a method for stabilizing soil by injecting (I) into the soil.
