Articles such as electronic device products are components constituting completed products or products yet to be planned and developed, therefore, in addition to a means of acquiring information for a single article, a retrieval based on a completed product is desirable; but a means for the retrieval has not been available. Even if such an information providing system is built, troubles caused by the leakage of important information such as planning/developing information may be incurred. Apparatus component-compatible data is visualized to give an at a-glance recognition of the presence/absence of information offered by component providers. Where highly important business management information such as component-related information is involved, the timing of information disclosure and a scope of public reading will have to be controlled by using a group identifier allocated to a person permitted to access the information.
