PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a table tennis racket which is light in weight, provides a good feed of hitting a ball and has a hollow grip packed with a synthetic resin foam substantially preventing the occurrence of the failure and peeling of grip component members accompanied with the fall onto a hard floor surface and a temperature change. SOLUTION: This table tennis racket includes a plywood base plate 1 which includes a grip part 2a and two divided grip shell members 3a and 3a which are adhered in superposition to the front surface and rear surface of the grip part 2a of the base plate 1. The grip part 2a is subjected to penetration machining relating to the positions corresponding to the inside of the two divided grip shell members 3a and 3a, by which the one continuous cavity 4a is shaped together with the two divided grip shell members 3a and 3a over the inside thereof with each other. This cavity 4a is integrally packed with the cured synthetic resin foam. |
