PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium having a magnetic recording layer having excellent adhesive properties with a heat-sensitive recording layer and excellent water resistance. SOLUTION: The heat-sensitive recording medium comprises the heat-sensitive recording layer containing an electron donative compound, an electron acceptive compound and an adhesive on a front surface of a paper support and the magnetic recording layer containing a ferromagnetic compound and an adhesive and partly provided on the heat-sensitive recording layer. As one means, when the magnetic recording layer is partly provided on the heat-sensitive recording layer or after the magnetic recording layer is provided, the heat-sensitive recording layer is set to a color developing state only under the magnetic recording layer by emitting a flash light or the like.
