PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the operational unit of a hydraulic traveling vehicle, by which the vehicle can travel in a high speed only when a speed change lever is operated, and the traveling speed decreases when an operator's hand is off the lever. SOLUTION: A restrain device 4 is provided in a retreat side maximum speed operational area for the speed change lever 2, the restrain device forcing the lever 2 to the low speed side.
