PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a hollow resin molded article having expected and uniform target wall thickness. SOLUTION: A resin sump 17 is allowed to communicate with a resin supply passage 13. When a molten resin R is injected in a cavity 7, the resin supply passage 13 and the resin sump 17 are cut off by the closing operation of an on-off valve 21a to prevent the molten resin R from flowing in the resin sump 17. When compressed gas is injected in the molten resin R in the cavity 7, the resin supply passage 13 and the resin sump 17 are allowed to communicate with each other by the opening operation of the on-off valve 21a to discharge a part of the molten resin R to the resin sump 17 as the excessive resin R'.
