PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic lock system which can exchange passwords in a cyberspace, controls locking/unlocking, and facilitates management of a plurality of locks. SOLUTION: The locks 1 are provided for doors of containers and warehouses which need to be controlled for opening/closing, and they are electronically controlled to be locked/unlocked in response to instructions from operators using mobile body terminals 2a to 2f, and the like. Communication between the mobile body terminals 2a to 2f and the respective locks 1 is performed by using radio-communication such as the Bluetooth and low-power radio- communication. The mobile body terminals 2a to 2f output locking signals in response to locking operations of locking operators, respectively, and output unlocking signals in response to unlocking operations of unlocking operators, respectively. The mobile body terminals 2a to 2f are each formed of a portable information communicating device having a radio-communicating function, including a portable telephone, a PHS, and a PDA having a communicating function, for instance, and the mobile body terminals 2a to 2f can be connected to a communication network 4 such as general telephone lines, and the Internet, via a base station 3 of a radio-subscriber network. |
