PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an urgent operation method in a portable communication terminal which is used for informing an urgent state to a third person without performing prescribed operation. SOLUTION: Scale of impact applied to the portable communication terminal is measured with a shock sensor 115, and a shock recognizing part 116 judges whether the scale of the impact is greater than a prescribed threshold value and detects impact exceeding the prescribed threshold value. A starting command is generated in the case that impacts exceeding the threshold value are detected continuously at least prescribed number of times at intervals shorter than a prescribed time by using an impact counter 118. When the starting command is generated, a circuit connection priority circuit 119 commands an originating call to a person having a telephone number which is determined previously. When the command is generated, originating call operation is performed by the telephone number in a central processing part 14.
