The control circuit for a heating burner has a telephone interface (25) connected to a telephone line (L) and to a voice synthesizer (27) to emit a voice message to the subscriber terminal (30). The message gives the subscriber a value of ambient temperature and a functioning parameter. The circuit has a decoder (26) to receive the signals from the telephone line corresponding to a new parameter value.
