PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove noise from an image properly without complicated processing and the like. SOLUTION: An image processing device comprises a block-segmenting circuit 10 for segmenting an input image signal into pixel blocks of a predetermined size, a color converting circuit 30 for generating, about a chrominance signal of one kind, a false chrominance signal from a chrominance signal of another kind adjacent to a pixel position of the one-kind chrominance signal, and an adding circuit 40 for combining the one-kind chrominance signal and the false chrominance signal generated by the color converting circuit 30 to generate a new chrominance signal of the one kind. |
