PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode material for lithium secondary batteries, which is provided with both of large capacity that silicone has and an outstanding cycle performance that carbon represented by graphite has. SOLUTION: The active material particles, which are obtained by covering base particles consisting of silicon, germanium, or these alloys substantially with carbon layers, are used as the negative electrode material for lithium secondary battery. |
