PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound signal processing unit that generates a sound reproduction signal corresponding to multi-channel(M channel) stereo from a sound reproduction signal of N-channel stereo. SOLUTION: When the sound signal processing unit receives an N-channel reproduction signal (S101), M-sets of transfer functions generated on the basis of a sound pressure measured at M-sets of measurement positions enclosing an enclosed curved surface from each reproduction signal on an outer circumference of the enclosed curved surface are convoluted (S102). Then summing the sound reproduction signals where the transfer functions corresponding to the measured positions are convoluted (S103) provides an output of M-system of reproduction signals (S104).
