摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-quality organic light-emitting device eliminating lack of reproducibility in an Al-Li cathode. SOLUTION: As the manufacturing method of an electrode covering a light- emitting layer in the organic light-emitting device, a process is included of placing the organic device in a vacuum chamber having a receptacle of evaporative matter. Another process is to heat the receptacle for having the matter in it evaporated and deposited on the light-emitting layer to form an electrode, where, a shutter (when it is open) enables the evaporative matter to be deposited from the heated receptacle onto the light-emitting layer. The method also includes a selective process of either supplying an extensible member made of evaporative matter to the heating receptacle when forming an electrode or removing the matter from the receptacle when not forming one.
