PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable stable movement on a floor, if unevenness exists in a wavy form. SOLUTION: The moving shelf device comprises an underframe 1 and a pair of front and rear shelf bodies 2, 3 arranged on the underframe 1, the underframe 1 having wheel units 4A, 4B, 5A, 5B with both front and rear wheels 4a, 4b, 5a, 5b arranged at the front and rear sides and at the right and left sides. Both front and rear wheels 4a, 4b of both wheels units 4A, 4B at the front side are integrally interlocked via a chain mechanism 10 so that both front and rear wheels 4a, 4b can be driven to be rotated by a driving motor 6.
