摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylonitrile polymer having high thermal oxidation reactivity and suitable as a raw material for a carbonaceous material such as carbon fiber. SOLUTION: The acrylonitrile polymer has an absorption peak caused by the C-O double bond of carboxy group at 1680-1720 cm-1 on an infrared absorption spectrum measured by KBr tablet method and contains 0.05-4 mol% carboxylic acid comonomer. The polymer preferably further satisfies the formula 0.9<1/tp<2.0 wherein 1/tp is the reciprocal of the time tp (min to develop the exothermic peak on the isothermal heat-generation curve measured in an air stream of 100 mL/min at 230 deg.C by a heat-flux differential scanning calorimeter. |
