PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-mounted air conditioner which is arranged so that it can lead in a part of blown-out air efficiently from an air guide port by providing its body between a suction port at the top of the front and the blowout port at the bottom of the front with the above air guide port for introducing a part of the blown-out air, and providing that air guide port with an opening and closing panel thereby short-circuiting a part of the blown-out air at, in particular, dehumidifying operation, and further is so arranged as not to mar the external appearance by blinding the front so that the interior may be hard to see at opening. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is equipped with an air guide port 13 which leads a part of air blown out of the blowout port 7 to an air passage through the vertical section 8a of a heat exchanger 8 at a suction grill 3 or a front panel 4 between the suction port 5 at the top of the front and the blowout port 7, an opening and closing panel 14 which opens and closes the air guide port 13 at that air guide port 13, and further a blinding means which consists of a flange 14' for blinding the interior at opening. |
