PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle handlebar with a reduced manufacturing cost including a material cost while having a necessary strength, and with improved workability in the nipping and fixation of the handlebar. SOLUTION: This handlebar comprises a press-molded lug upper plate 1, a bar nipping upper plate 2, a lower plate 3, and a fastening bolt 11 capable of mutually fastening the upper and lower side plates 2 and 3. The lug upper plate 1 is fitted on and fixed to a post 6 by a lower short cylindrical part 7 closer to the rear part, and the nipping upper plate 2 is fitted on and fixed to the post 6 by a round hole 8 closer to the rear part, so that a bar 9 can be nipped between the upper curved part 10 closer to the center thereof and the lower curved part 13 of the lower plate 3. The hinge tongue piece 17 of the lower plate 3 is engaged with the horizontally long engagement hole 16 of the upper plate 2 to form a hinge part 15. The upper and lower side plates 2 and 3 are fastened by the fastening bolt 11 so that the bar 9 can be retained, nipped and fixed between the upper and lower curved parts 10 and 13.
