<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a pulp mold molding, with which a molding having excellent surface smoothness and excellent appearance can be readily produced. SOLUTION: This method for producing a pulp mold molding comprises inserting an elastically deformable mold having a pulp layer 4 on the surface and a communication route through which the inside is allowed to communicate with the outside into a recessed part 5a of a female mold 5 having the recessed part 5a in a shape corresponding to the external shape of a molding 6 in such a way that the bottom of the pulp layer 4 is brought into contact with the bottom part of the recessed part 5a, the elastically deformable mold is pressed and deformed so as to make the mold follow the shape of the recessed part 5a, the shape of the recessed part 5a is transferred to the pulp layer 4, the pulp layer 4 is heated and dried, water contained in the pulp layer 4 is discharged through the inside of the mold to the outside of the mold to make the molding 6.</p> |
