PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small printer having means for dissipating heat generated from a motor at a low cost. SOLUTION: The printer 10 comprises an impeller 44 fixed to a shaft 34 for taking up an ink ribbon 18. When the take-up shaft 34 is rotated by driving a motor 38, the ink ribbon 18 can be taken up and heat of the motor 38 can be dissipated by an air flow formed by the impeller 44. |
