PURPOSE: A laser signal detection and control system is provided to enable a user to point at a position on a screen when explaining a specific subject during a presentation, and to change presentation pages by shooting a laser to a laser detector with a pointer, not a remote controller in a conventional method. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a laser pointer, an optical sensor(7), an amplifier(10), a relay switch(8), a variable resistor(9), a control signal generator, and an output terminal. The laser pointer enables a user to point at a position on a screen needed to be complementarily explained during a presentation or to change presentation pages by emitting a laser to the optical sensor(7). The optical sensor(7) receives the laser emitted by the laser pointer. The amplifier(10) amplifies a specific voltage difference selected by a variable resistor(9). The relay switch(8) receives the amplified signal. The control signal generator outputs a control signal like an enter key located at a left side of a mouse. The output terminal enables a transmission of the control signal to a computer. The output terminal selectively uses a PS2 plug or a USB plug. |
