PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tabular drain material, which has water permeability under high load, by which clogging is difficult to occur and which has excellent portability and workability and can collect and discharge excess water in a stratum superiorly. SOLUTION: In the tabular drain material in which fiber aggregate composed of a thermoplastic fiber having a degree of fineness of 10-100 dtex is compression-molded, the mutual intersections of the thermoplastic fibers in the surface layer section and internal layer section of the tabular drain material are bonded, the percentage of voids of the tabular drain material is 55-99%, and the strain ratio of the tabular drain material in the case of 0.5 MPa load is within 35%.
