The structure that has a guiding shoe (1) supported to a cross head pin provided with a bearing (3), connects a piston rod and a connecting rod of one of the engine cylinders in a rotation bearing whose axis of rotation lies along cross head axial line (12).The perpendicular distance `A' from a lower end (10) in the sliding surface (4) of the cross head to the axial line of the cross head is shorter than the perpendicular distance `B' from the axial line to an upper edge (14) of the cross head sliding surface. The axial line is arranged at a predefined distance (16) away from the intermediate axial line (15) in the lower side of the sliding surface without changing the size of the guiding shoe sliding surface.
