PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a product having good formability and good dimensional precision by warm press forming a metal plate of high strength like a stainless steel plate and a high strength steel plate. SOLUTION: One or more electrodes are respectively mounted to both end parts of the metal plate inside a die or at a neighborhood of the die and outside the die, by impressing an electric current between the electrodes, the metal plate is heated to a prescribed working temperature with joule heat, successively, press forming is conducted.
