PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for an apparatus for frozen dessert food production, with which a user is made to be further aware of safety by making it clear that an arrangement of a front lid part is clearly detected and eventually the apparatus for frozen dessert food production can be more safely used. SOLUTION: A takeout switch mechanism 18 including a plunger position detection lever 18b is installed in the vicinity of an opening part 12a. When a front lid part 16 cannot be attached to the opening part 12a, the tip of the lever 18b is excessively protruded upto the arrangement part of the front lid part 16, and thus the arrangement of the front lid part 16 is obstructed or made into a state corresponding to the obstruction since a projection member is excessively projected until it reaches an arrangement position. A safety action for prohibiting at least the action of a stirring blade is carried out at a switch part 18a. Therefore, the unconsidered rotation of the stirring blade can be avoided and safety can be improved. Since the tip of the lever 18b is raised and then the front lid part 16 is arranged, the user's attention can be brought to safety.
