PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a structure in the body of a subject into a map. SOLUTION: This method is the one for mapping the structure in the body of the subject, which comprises the obtaining of a three-dimensional(3D) image with a constitution comprising diagnostic information and the generating of a 3D geometrical map with a constitution using a probe which is inserted to the structure. An image is matched with the map so as to permit the respective image points in the image to be the same as corresponding map points in the map. The map is displayed to display diagnostic information combined with each of the image points at the corresponding map point. |
