PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reamer and a method of reaming capable of easily and accurately setting the outer peripheral position of a blade body relative to a tool body with a low cost. SOLUTION: A blade body support table 6 having a tip-shaped blade body 10 formed of a sintered body of diamond or cubic boron nitride fixed thereto is detachably fixed to the peripheral surface of the axial tip part of the tool body 2 rotatable about one axis O. After the blade body support table 6 is fixed to the tool body 2, the outer peripheral surface of the blade body 10 is polished along an arc about the axis of the tool body 2. Thus, the outer peripheral surface of the blade body 10 is set so as to be positioned at a specified distance from the axis O.
