LIQUID JET RECORDING HEAD, METHOD OF IMPROVING CHARACTERISTIC OF INNER FACE OF LIQUID JET HEAD, AND METHOD OF MAKING LIQUID JET HEAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head superior in reliability by preventing an air pocket from being created in a liquid jet head. SOLUTION: A heater board 1 having a heater 1a for making a bubble in ink, a top plate 2 having a groove for forming a liquid passage 2a or a common liquid chamber 2b at the lower face and an orifice plate 10 having an ejection nozzle for ejecting ink are bonded with a sealing agent 3 therebetween to form the liquid jet head. A hydrophilic treatment-applied face 6 is formed on the inner face of the liquid jet head. As a result, a face energy of each of the top plate 2 made of a material having a comparatively low face energy, the orifice plate 10 and, particularly, a part of the sealing agent 3 having a water- repellency is substantially equal to that of the other part so that it is possible to suppress the occurrence of an air pocket at a portion having a low face energy.
