PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative raising seedling cup having holes for tying a suspension string, enabling the planting of a seedling on a planting bed without removing the seedling from the cup while preventing the collapse of soil attached to the root of the seedling and enabling the culture of a crop necessitat ing a suspension string for culture such as tomato and cucumber without tying the string near the vulnerable base part of the young crop and to provide a method for the direct planting culture with the raising seedling cup having holes for tying a suspension string. SOLUTION: The raising seedling cup has a number of root-passing through- holes sporadically distributed on the bottom and side wall of the cup and suspension string tying holes near the upper circumferential edge of the side wall. The seedling grown in the raising seedling cup is directly planted on a bed together with the cup and cultured.
