PURPOSE:To flexibly cope with diversification of device type by generating the access control signal of access control of the memory or the I/O port of a target system based on an access control code and supplying this signal to the address terminal and the control terminal of the memory or the I/O port of the target system. CONSTITUTION:A direct access control circuit 7 is added to generate an access control signal ACS for access control of the memory or the I/O port of a target system 2 based on a series of access control codes ACC successively read out from a ROM 6 in response to the command from a main processor 1. Since it is unnecessary for an emulation processor 5 to read out an access control program from a RAM 3 and execute this program to generate the access control signal ACS, it is unnecessary to prepare different access control programs for respective device types of the emulation processor 5, and this emulator can flexibly cope with diversification of device type of the processor. |
