PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical amplifier in which an abnormality occurring instantaneously can be verified while enhancing accuracy of trouble analysis and maintainability. SOLUTION: Abnormal data detected by an input light monitor PD1, an output light monitor PD2, a reflected light monitor PD3, a pumping LD current monitor 4 and a pumping temperature monitor 5 can be carried by storing them in a flash ROM card 15. Furthermore, the data can be viewed easily at the site using the function of a display section 16 and data can be collected from a remote installation site using the function of a communication control section 17. |
